Why Plainfield, NJ?
Plainfield’s history runs deep in central New Jersey. Plainfield became a city in 1869, and not long after, a local newspaper publisher bestowed the nickname “Colorado of the East” on the town. This effort to promote Plainfield’s climate eventually led to a new nickname, as Denver was known as the “Queen City of the Plains” at the time. The nickname was shortened to Queen City, and the rest is history.

Many of our staff members have deeply-held connections to Plainfield, whether they grew up here, worked here, or have family that’s been in town for generations. And this bustling and thriving community informs everything that we do.
When you shop with us, you’re not just supporting a business — you’re supporting your neighbors and helping give back to the community. We believe that shopping and supporting local business is essential to the growth and sustainability of our community. So come on in — we’re your neighbors who just happened to have great weed, and we can’t wait to get to know you.
